BIO: Orion Carloto is named after one of the most powerful constellations in the cosmos, and it’s no question as to why. The 23-year-old poet has grown a career and global following through turning her experiences and muses into diverse art forms, whether it’s poetry, film photography or video. From a childhood in Georgia spent writing and dreaming to young adulthood adventures taking her from New York to Italy and now Los Angeles, Orion’s poetry serves as a memory machine of gripping moments of romance, longing and nostalgia suspended in time. She’s already published her first poetry collection entitled Flux, with her second collection currently in the works.
WHAT MOVES YOU?: "Capturing love in all its forms and through authentic mediums."
QUOTE: “Build a good name. Keep your name clean. Don’t make compromises, don’t worry about making a bunch of money or being successful — be concerned with doing good work and make the right choices and protect your work. And if you build a good name, eventually, that name will be its own currency.” -Patti Smith
